For a complete control of the overhaul work performed on a hydraulic power steering, in addition to the test performed with one of our test benches, not everyone knows that it is good to test the overhauled product with low pressure and air instead of high pressure and oil.

It can also be used for a preventive test of the power steering, using air will not even soil the product.

As we all know, automotive technology and its vital components are always in evolution and the Electric Power Steering is not different.

The direct consequence of this is the increasing number and complexity of the messages that modern EPS systems require. On top of that, the new communication protocol CAN FD, has required an update to Vinci cables.

Via the test bench, the “AI” cables will be able to communicate to our servers and receive the necessary information to test new models and correct bugs.

And with that, the simple cable transforms into an active tool, smart, and able to interact with our headquarters to always be at peak efficiency, and to do an optimal job.

Emmetec announces the availability of the new relays W-05548 and W-05549.

These relays are essential to solve malfunctions of the vehicles in the table below:

Sometimes, garages may be obliged to execute daring repairs, however, it's still vital to bear in mind that EPS are critical safety devices.

Emmetec has insisted and has invested to reactivate the production line and have obtained this last batch of relays directly from the original supplier.

We suggest to all of our customers to stock up since once these are sold out they will no longer be available in the market.

Emmetec presents RIV4, the new family of bottom valves, exploiting the deflection of the shim-stack towards the centre.

The RIV4 bottom valves fits on 25, 27, 30, 32, 35 and 36mm cylinders, and are composed by the following components.

Emmetec RIV4 bottom valves allow a wide range of settings.

Moreover, since during the extension stroke the entire shim-stack flexes upwards freeing the body seat, they are self-cleaning, so prevents the risk of any dirt blocking the valve, generating annoying oil-gaps during the rebound stroke.
